Today's Quick Mention:  Yesterday I was sent a couple of videos that I think you should check out.  One is from Reptar for the song Sebastian, and the other is from Future Of The Left for Sheena Is A T-Shirt Salesman.  Expect both to help you smile while wasting a little time at work.

Laura Burhenn is awesome, and I'm really excited about the upcoming sophomore effort from her current band, the Mynabirds.  If it's anything at all like their debut, then I imagine it will find a spot on my year-end album list.  You'll be able to bring Generals into your home when the always fantastic Saddle Creek releases it on June 5.  Enjoy.

:The Mynabirds - Body Of Work:  To be honest, this upbeat track with its upbeat message struggles to not totally come off as nothing more than a cheesy mess.  I, however, still dig it.  I know I'm "Burhenn forever," but I really do find the song to be full of charm, and that especially goes for the joyously dance-worthy arrangement.  You should be able to have fun with this.
