Today's Quick Mention: If you feel like
getting out tonight then you should head over to La
Zona Rosa for Girls and Unknown Mortal Orchestra.
I've haven't seen the former since their stellar set
at the last FunFunFun Fest, so I'm pumped for the
show. Tix are $22. Doors are at 8pm.
I didn't initially freak out (like the rest of the
blogosphere) over the arrival of a new Beach House
track, but I can't deny that I did get super excited
for their new album after I finally gave the first
single a listen. It's honestly pretty great.
Check it out below. Sub Pop will put out the super
highly anticipated Bloom on May 15.

House - Myth: I usually have to get a few listens in before I'm fully
committed to anything with this act, but with this I was
hooked about 30 seconds into my first play through.
There isn't anything in this song that doesn't sound
spectacular, and you can expect to immediately realize that
for yourself. Be sure to slap on the best pair of
headphones you can find.
