Today's Quick Mention:  There are a couple of nice shows you should check out tonight. Lower Dens, No Joy, and Alan Resnick are set to play the Parish, and Grape St, The Sweet Nuthin’, and Dads can be found at 29th Street Ballroom. Go see something!

Passion Pit wants to make sure you know they’re about to put out their sophomore full length, so they’ve rolled out a snazzy new single. It’s a bit different than the track they unleashed a number of weeks back, but I think it’s pretty cool. You can check it out below. The band will release Gossamer to the world on July 24 via Columbia. Enjoy.

:Passion Pit - I'll Be Alright:  If you happen to be in the group of folks that thought the first single (Take A Walk) was a little too tame, then this should put a smile on your face. The song is like energy riding on a wave of energy, and I fully expect that you'll want to immediately jam it the next time you do something that requires any type of movement.
