blast. I believe tickets are still on-sale.
If you want something a little more low key, though,
I recommend heading to Lambert's for
Robert Francis.
That's a cool place and he's a cool guy.
I think Purity Ring have officially become one of
those bands where as soon as they release something
new, I have to write about it. You could call
it ridiculous, I suppose, but I prefer to think of
it as dedication or, perhaps, obsession. The
duo's debut full length is titled Shrines,
and it will finally arrive on July 24 via 4AD.

Ring - Fineshrine:
"They make lullabies for the club." I kind of scoffed
when I read this line in Purity Ring's latest press release,
but then I listened to the track and realized that it's
acting a pretty fitting description for it. If you
thought their previous songs were a bit too quiet and/or a
test of your patience, I think you may really dig the "loud"
approach here.
