Dana Falconberry is one of my favorite local
artists. The girl is just a great songwriter,
and I have a lot of respect for how hard she works.
For example, she just announced a new full length,
but in 2012 alone she's already out an EP and done a
fair amount of touring. Way to work it, Dana.
The upcoming LP is titled Leelanau, and it's
due out October 9 via Antenna Farm Records.

Dana tends to lean more towards the folk side of things, but
here and there she'll deliver a gem like this that showcases
her versatility. Yes, it still has the folk
sensibilities that should be expected from her, but it's
also laced with enough retro pop to give it a twist.
There's no reason this shouldn't add a charming vibe to your
day.
