Today's Quick Mention: I try to have an
actual downloadable mp3 for everything shared on
SOTO, but with so many streaming-only tracks popping
up these days I'm thinking that maybe it would be
useful to put together a weekly post that rounds
them all up. Thoughts?
I
missed out when it came time to jump on the
bandwagon for Maserati's last album, Pyramids Of
The Sun, and since they're an act I like, I'm
determined to not let that happen again. Below
is the first song to be released off the band's new
LP, which is titled Maserati VII and is due
out on October 2 via Temporary Residence Ltd.

If I ever get to a point this year where I need to do some
dramatic running (or thinking), I think I may use this song
as the soundtrack. The damn thing just pulsates with
energy and determination, and I feel like I should be doing
something important every time I hit play. Be sure to
do as I do and listen to this one with the volume cranked.
