Today's Quick Mention:  Other than Agent Ribbons playing the Mohawk, there's not much going on in regards to shows around Austin tonight.  So, just in case you've yet to see it, I recommend catching the Amazing Spider-Man.  It's a lot better than you probably expect.

If you're like me, the random mid-week holiday has the brain confused about what day it actually is.  So, in attempt to wake up, I sought out something a bit jarring to share today.  It's from Tilly And The Wall, who haven't put out an album since 2008's self titled effort, and you'll be able to find it on Heavy Mood.  The LP is due out at some point in October via Team Love.  Enjoy.

:Tilly And The Wall - Love Riot:  These guys have had some "louder" songs in the past, but I don't recall them ever being this aggressive.  It works.  There's a distinct early-Yeah Yeah Yeahs vibe to the track that's pretty nice and fun.  Now I'm just curious to see if all of their new album will be this intense, or if we'll get to see some of the band's more pop leanings.
