One of
my favorite local discoveries from 2011 was the
Shivery Shakes, who are an indie/powerpop quartet
with infectious pop tunes that make you want to
smile and get up and dance. This Saturday they'll be
celebrating the release of their
debut
EP at The ND with the 60s mod-rock of
Burgess Meredith,
the psychedelic glam rock of
BOY,
and
Sleep Good.
Doors are at 9pm. Show is at 10pm. $7 cover. The
first 50 people in the door get a 3D screen print,
3D glasses, the EP, buttons, and a download. This is
an all around fantastic local bill of up and coming
local bands to watch in 2012, so be there.
