8) is reportedly close to signing on to appear in
Kathryn Bigelow's currently untitled film about the search
for Osama Bin Laden.
Dean Parisot (Fun With Dick And Jane) has signed on
to direct the sequel to RED. The entire cast is
expected to return.
Rob Corddry may join Michael Bay's Pain And Gain.
Dwayne Johnson, Mark Wahlberg, and Ed Harris have already
been cast.
Warner Bros. is moving forward with a sequel to I Am
Legend. Will Smith is expected to return.
Gael Garcia Bernal has been cast as the lead in Zorro
Reborn. The only detail known about the plot at
this point is that it's set in the future.
Michael Bay is said to be readying a fourth Transformers
entry. An entirely new cast is expected to be used.
Vince Vaughn may star in Tony Scott's Lucky Strike.
The film is said to follow a DEA agent who teams up with a
drug dealer to take down a cartel.
Dwayne Johnson recently said there are no current plans to
shoot the next Fast And Furious entries back to back.
Jonathan Liebesman (Wrath Of The Titans) is said to
be close to signing on to direct a live action Teenage
Mutant Ninja Turtles film. Josh Applebaum and
Andre Nemec (Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol)
wrote the script.
Gina Carano (Haywire) will star in In The Blood.
The film is said to follow a woman who is searching for the
people that kidnapped her husband.
Guillermo Del Toro has officially signed on to direct
Beauty And The Beast. Emma Watson is said to have
landed the lead role.
Because of scheduling issues, Dwight Yoakam will not appear
in The Lone Ranger.
Michael Fassbender may star in a movie based on the Irish
mythological hero Cuchulain.
Robert Downey Jr. seems set to play the lead in a series of
films based on the attorney character Perry Mason.
Pedro Almodovar's next film is The Brief Lovers.
It's said to be a comedy.
