Today's Quick Mention:  Is anyone using Letterboxd?  I'd like to follow (and be followed by) more people over there.  If you don't know, it's a pretty nifty site where you can essentially "journalize" the movies you've seen recently and then share your thoughts with friends and foes.

A Menomena-less Brent Knopf is something that I'll never stop thinking of as a fairly big bummer, but at least the guy is still making music and doing his thing with Ramona Falls.  Brent released the project's debut, Inuit, back in 2009, and now he's readied a sophomore effort.  It's titled Prophet and you can expect to find it May 1 via Barsuk.  Enjoy.

:Ramona Falls - Spore:  Knopf knows really knows how to put a song together, so be sure to do the man a favor and throw on some headphones before you hit play.  As for the actual track, it's fantastic.  The lyrics feel very personal, which makes them easier to constantly pour over, and the arrangement is easy to get lost in.  I hope I get to hear this live soon.
