Today's Quick Mention: Believe it or
not, I started SOTO six years ago today. I
should probably have some special content to
celebrate the occasion, but recently all of my spare
time has been spent working on the new Wordpress
version of the site. It will launch by Monday!
White Denim are one of my absolute favorite bands
around right now, so the arrival of two
outtakes
(apparently from their Takes Place In Your Work
Space sessions) yesterday put a big smile on my
face. Both tracks are good, but the one below
won me over just a bit more. Enjoy.

There's no denying that White Denim are great when they let
go and get loud, but I have to say that I really dig
whenever they flash their versatility and churn out slower,
more soul-oriented jams like this gem. It's a style
that really does fit them well. By the way, no need
for headphones here, just turn it up and let the warmth of
the track fill the room.
