Today's Quick Mention:  There's a nice trio of shows happening tonight.  Weird Weeds are at Cherrywood Coffeehouse, The War On Drugs are playing Emo's, and Leatherbag are set for Hole In The Wall.  Now get out there and have some fun, you crazy kids.

The fuzzy all-girl indie rock that was everywhere last year seems to have died down a bit in 2011.  Fortunately (or not, if you're burnt out on the sound), there are a still a few gems out there, and one of them is Bleached.  The sister duo of Jessica and Jennifer Clavin will release the Searching Through The Past 7" via Suicide Squeeze on December 6.  Enjoy.

:Bleached - Searching Through The Past:  I'm only two-songs deep in regards to my knowledge of this band, but consider me ready and willing for a prime seat on their bandwagon.  They're great at writing a hook, and I really love how they don't feature a single thing that doesn't seem effortless.  Way to be, ladies.  Now hurry up and come play a show in Austin.
