have been hired to write a script for a sequel to Top Gun.

Killer. The movie is said to follow a submarine
captain that has to work with a group of Navy SEALs who are
trying to save a Russian president.
Patty Jenkins (Monster) has officially been hired to
direct Thor 2.
Disney has decided to restart production on The Lone Ranger.
Gore Verbinski and Johnny Depp are still attached.
Sleeping Beauty might turn out to be good.

Javier Bardem has been confirmed to be the villain in the
next Bond movie.

Woody Allen has changed the title of his next movie from
The Bop Decameron to Nero Fiddled.
Matt Reeves (Let Me In) will direct the upcoming
Twilight Zone movie.
Not really sure what to think of the Act Of Valor
trailer.
Christopher McQuarrie is said to be working on a version of
Seven Samurai that would be based on Navy SEALs.
It would apparently be titled Rubicon.
Don Johnson has landed a role in Django Unchained.
This Means War will probably be terrible, but I may
still watch it. Here's the

Robert Downey Jr. will reportedly star in An Accidental
Genius. The film is said to follow a man who slips
into a coma and then wakes up with genius-level
intelligence.
The final
trailer for The Muppets Movie makes
it look pretty good.
The next Die Hard flick will be called A Good Day
To Die Hard.
Shame is playing the Austin Film Festival, and I'm
