Today's Quick Mention:  It's the beginning of the end ... of 2011.  There will be some of the usual content through Wednesday of this week, and then it's all year-end lists for probably too long.  Get ready.  It's going to be a total overload of music recap-ness.

It's the Monday of a holiday week, so I'm playing it lazy and just giving you one track today.  Sorry.  On the bright side, it's from She And Him.  For a month or so I've purposely avoided their Christmas album, but now I think it's finally time for me to dive into it.  The honestly titled A Very She And Him Christmas is currently available via Merge.  Enjoy.

:She And Him - Christmas Day:  Just as I (and surely you) expected, this is a sweet little pop song that will make you want to hug whoever is closest to you when hit play.  Fortunately, that's also what I prefer out of my Christmas music, so it works.  Now if only we could convince Zooey and M. Ward to only make holiday albums form here on out.  Just imagine - A Very She And Him Easter ... or A Very She And Him Independence Day.
