Today's Quick Mention:  I've probably talked about it too much already on Twitter, but I'd just like to reiterate that the Green Day show at Red 7 last night was insanely awesome.  I won't even be able to see anything this weekend, as it just won't live up to that experience.

Here's some music.  Enjoy.

:Denver - Los Adolescentes:  I wish I knew more about this band.  I found this gloriously upbeat number over at You Ain't No Picasso, but he didn't actually share any info on them, and going the way of Google seems to only return results that barely mention them.  Oh well.  At least I can say that this is a gem, and that it's from Musica, Gramatica, Gimnasia, which is available on Spotify.

:Laura Gibson - La Grande:
Laura Gibson has been around for a nice bit and has done some good stuff, but I have to admit that I've never exactly been a thorough follower of hers.  That should change, and I think it will if the new album has some more songs like this driving effort.  Barsuk will place the La Grande full length everywhere on January 24.

:J Mascis - I've Been Thinking:  If I'm in the right mood, the acoustic material from Dinosaur Jr's J. Mascis makes for a great listen.  This track is no different, which means that if you're feeling sappy today you should find plenty to like here.  This is a b-side for an upcoming single called Circle that's due out November 22 via Sub Pop.  Mascis also has a full length out now titled Several Shades Of Why.

:Way Yes - Tia:  I shared the track Automail a while back, and now that Way Yes have put out their 7" I thought I should also post up the rather easy to love b-side.  If you don't want to dance to this at least a little, then you may be baking up a bunch of frownies today.  You can get the Oranjudio 7" at this very moment from the fine folks over at Lefse.

:Arrange - Sun Showers:  The silky smooth arrangement in this song makes me want to slow dance in the rain with someone, but that's not necessarily a bad thing.  After all, who doesn't need a little bit of that in their life?  In any case, this is the first single off the upcoming Fives Years With The Sun EP, which is expected to be released on January 24 via Jukboxr.
