Damien Jurado has been churning out quality stuff
since before I was even in high school, so when news
of a new album arrives I make sure to pay attention
immediately. Below you'll find the first
single off of Maraqopa, which is the name of
the upcoming Richard Swift-produced effort.
It's due out February 2 via Secretly Canadian.

This very well crafted track is heavy on the atmosphere, and
you will need to have every bit of it swirling around in
your head to fully appreciate it. You may also want to
grab a stiff drink and a comfy seat, as there will be a need
