Today's Quick Mention:  Just a heads up, the site will pretty much be going on a holiday break tomorrrow through Monday.  We'll miss you.  Stay somewhat safe and be sure to have a blast doing whatever it is that you plan on getting yourself into over the long weekend.

Let's face it, Will Johnson is just a beast when it comes to creating music.  There always seems to be something coming out with his name attached, and this time around it's the form of a new Centro-matic LP.  Although, tomorrow it may be South San Gabriel or just his solo stuff.  Candidate Waltz is due out June 21 via Undertow Music Collective.  Enjoy.

:Centro-matic - Only In My Double Mind:  Sometimes I kind of feel like you have to a be a fan of Centro-matic to really like what they're doing, but this is a pretty accessible track.  It's catchy enough, and I especially love the edge it carries due to Will's grovely voice and the distorted arrangement.  Hopefully I'll get to catch it live when they play the Mohawk on July 9.
