Rundown
Tom Cruise will
star in Oblivion. Directed by Joseph Kosinski (Tron
Legacy), the film will follow a security drone-repairing
soldier that's been stranded on a destroyed Earth.
David Mandel (Seinfeld) has reportedly been hired by
Warner Bros. to write a Fletch reboot.
A
trailer for The Adventures Of Tin Tin
has been released. Looks cool.
Vin Diesel has agreed to star in The Machine.
The movie will supposedly follow a human-like machine who
must protect the family that's hiding him from his creators.
Meryl Streep, Steve Carell and Tommy Lee Jones will appear
in Great Hope Springs. The movie is said to be
a comedy, but the plot is described as a couple who enter
intense counseling to deal with their intimacy issues.
Todd Phillips recently said there is a chance that he'd do a
third Hangover movie.
Phillip Noyce (Salt) has been hired to direct a
remake of Bloodsport.
The push for Green Lantern is really starting to pick
up. There's yet another
trailer.
Mel Gibson may join Kiefer Sutherland, Gerard Depardieu,
Thomas Jane, Giancarlo Giannini, Jon Lovitz and Johnny
Hallyday in Sleight Of Hand. The film is
reportedly about a group of incompetent burglars who
accidentally steal a rare coin from a gangster.
Arnie Hammer has officially been chosen for the lead role in
The Lone Ranger.

Will Farrell and Mark Wahlberg will both star in Turkey
Bowl, which is about two guys who lead rival tackle
football teams every Thanksgiving.
Keanu Reeves has decided not to sign on for the live action
version of Akira.
David Yates and Darren Aronofsky are being rumored as
possible choices to replace Tim Burton as the director of
Maleficent.
Transformers: Dark Of The Moon has another
trailer. Still looking like it'll be a fun

Seth McFarlane (Family Guy) has been given the rights
to reboot the Flintstones as a TV and film property.
Helena Bonham Carter, Ralphe Fiennes, Gemma Arterton and
Saoirse Ronan will star in Byzantium. The movie
is said to follow the story of a mother who turns her
daughter into a vampire.
Arnold Schwarzenegger has put all of his film projects on
hold due to personal issues.
Stephen Fry will be the Master Of Laketown in the Hobbit.
James Franco will star in Cherry. The film is
said to follow a cocaine-addicted laywer who starts a
relationship with a porn star.
The
trailer for Zookeeper looks as
awful as you'd expect.
Ian McKellen, Judi Dench and Gillian Anderson will all star
in The Curse Of The Buxom Strumpet, which is said to
be a zombie comedy.
