Today's Quick Mention: Tonight I'll be
attending the launch party for
AMP
(Austin Music People) at ACL Live at the Moody
Theater. The lineup is not entirely my kind of
thing, but I am interested to get some more info on
the new organization. Anyone else going?
I'm really anxious for Friday to get here, and that
for some reason inspired me to find something to
share today that's both catchy and quick.
Exactly how will such a thing make time go by
faster? I have no idea. So, I
present to you new stuff from Eternal Summers.
The duo will put out an EP titled Prisoner on
April 19 via Forest Family/Kanine Records.

Want to know the difference between this song and previous
ones? Nothing. At all. On the bright side,
that's far from being a bad thing. All I really want
from Eternal Summers are lo-fi gems, and that's what they
consistently deliver. The band will be back in Austin
on June 4 (with the Beets), so be awesome and make some
plans to see them.
