Before the SOTO staff and myself spend the rest of
the week rambling about who you should try to see at
SXSW, let's talk Those Darlins. The
Tennessee-based act will be releasing a new album
titled Screws Get Loose on March 29 via Oh
Wow Dang. Expect to want it after checking out
the title track, which can be found just below. Enjoy.

Country, punk, retro pop? A healthy combination of all
three? This band can tend to be all over the place, so
those two questions are what run through my head whenever I
get ready to listen to something new from them.
Honestly, I'd call the whole situation ridiculous and spend
my time elsewhere, but as you'll see in this infectious pop
tune, they're really good at making each of those styles
work for them.
