Movie News
Rundown
Julianne Moore
will join Paul Dano and Robert De Niro in Another
Bullshit Night In Suck City. The story follows a
young man and the path he and his father take to reconnect.
Super will probably be a great time. Check out
the
trailer.
Rumor has it that the Hobbit films will be titled
Hobbit: There And Back Again and Hobbit: An/The
Unexpected Journey.
Diane Lane has been cast as Martha Kent in the Superman
reboot.
Production on Men In Black 3 is still on hiatus, and
David Koepp has reportedly been brought in to make changes
to the script.
The new
trailer for Kung Fu Panda 2 is
surprisingly good. Same goes for the Puss In Boots
teaser.
Fox 2000 is currently working on Percy Jackson And The
Sea Of Monsters. Logan Lerman is said to be
returning for the sequel.
Eleanor Tomlinson has landed the lead role in Bryan Singer's
Jack The Giant Killer.
Jonah Hill will make his directorial debut with The
Kitchen Sink. It apparently has something to do
with humans, vampires and zombies teaming up to fight
aliens.
Mark Wahlberg has expressed interest in doing a sequel to
The Fighter.
Water For Elephants has a new
trailer. The movie still looks
sappy, but could be good.
Quentin Tarantino has reportedly written a script for a
spaghetti western that he plans to make as his next film.
It's said that Christopher Waltz will have a role.
The Farrelly brothers recently said that they're considering
doing a sequel to Dumb And Dumber.
Attack The Blocks looks like good fun. See the
trailer.
Universal has picked up Dirty Grandpa. Scripted
by John Phillips of the Upright Citizens Brigade, the
movie reportedly follows a young man and his grandfather one
a road trip.
Alcon Entertainment has announced plans to produce prequels
and sequels to Blade Runner.
Disney is looking at having Tom Hanks and Tim Allen team up
for Jungle Cruise. The movie, which is
currently being scripted by Robert Schulman (Shrek), is
based on a ride.
The
trailer for Detention does not make
me want to see the movie.
Channing Tatum and producer Joe Roth (Alice In Wonderland)
are trying to get a film called Peter Pan Begins
made. It would (obviously) be an origin story for the
famous character.
The movie still doesn't look good, but the new
trailer for Author is better than
the first one.
Tim Burton and Josh Brolin are reportedly trying to do a
live action remake of The Hunchback of Notre Dame.
Tobe Hooper (Texas Chainsaw Massacre) will direct
Djinn. The movie will follow a family as they deal
with a bunch of evil ancient creatures that occupy the high
rise that they moved into.
Director Kenneth Branagh will follow-up Thor with
The Boys In The Boat, which will based on the true story
of the University of Washington's rowing team in 1930s.
Something Borrowed still looks crazy generic.

Hailee Steinfeld, Jennifer Lawrence and Abigail Breslin are
said to be in the running for the lead role in The Hunger
Games. The novel series it would be based on is
centered around a dystopian future where a divided and
oppressed North America sends boys and girls to fight to the
death on TV.
Dylan Dog: Dead Of The Night looks awful. Check
