As you've probably noticed by now, on June 30 we're helping sponsor a show that's happening at Spiderhouse Ballroom. A press page with all the info you could need can be found here, but we also thought it would be fun to highlight each of the acts and offer up some of our own opinions. Enjoy.
Perhaps the
most underrated thing about the big show on Thursday is the
variety of bands. From the heavy noise rock of Megafuna, to
Monarchs’ soulful folk, to the clever indie pop of The Sour
Notes - there will be a lot of musical ground covered.
MaryAnn and the Revival Band add to that diversity of sound
with Marina Hendrix's great voice and their mix of western
swing and classic rock. Hard to imagine their live show
isn't a fun one.
