As you've probably noticed by now, on June 30 we're helping sponsor a show that's happening at Spiderhouse Ballroom. A press page with all the info you could need can be found here, but we also thought it would be fun to highlight each of the acts and offer up some of our own opinions. Enjoy.

Show Spotlight: Agent Ribbons (ballroom stage - 10:30pm)

Here by way of Sacramento, the duo known as Agent Ribbons make the kind of music that reminds of a livelier, garage-enthused Rilo Kiley. That's a neat combo, especially since I'm not talking about the Rilo Kiley that made the terrible Under The Blacklights, but the one that used to make clever indie pop. Remember them? They were great. Anyhow, I digress, and this highlight is for the quirky ways of Agent Ribbons, who should expect to see me nestled right at the front of the stage when they take it on Thursday. Hopefully you'll join me.
