Coming out of artist limbo, dormancy and isolation have returned Sheffield’s Slow Club back out into the public. Stepping down from out of the darkest recesses of the artist attic, dusting their shoulders off, the duo hearken back to us with a piece that shows they were hardly unproductive during their time off. No, if their song release says anything, they were anything but unproductive. Two Cousins is the sort of song that grabs hold of you from the get go - holding on to you tight before it hurls you and it off into a musical abyss. An emotionally driven, sophisticated piece, it’s nothing short of exceptional. Taken from their next upcoming, Paradise is certainly one album that I’m beyond eager to hear in it’s entirety, and luckily, there’s an opportunity to do just that much before the album's slated September 12 release.

Rebecca and Charles will set up with a full band at Red Bull Studios on June 21st to play songs from their new album. Those lucky enough to be in London and its immediate beyond can try their hand at going to the event by sharing the widget for the accompanying video of Two Cousins off the band’s website. As for everyone else, we’ll be able to stream the performance live that day.
