Today's Quick Mention:  If you decide to not stay home and privately celebrate the fact that as of today I'm 28 years old, then I recommend seeing a bit of live music tonight.  Times New Viking and the Sour Notes are playing the Mohawk, and the Antlers are at Emo's.

Earlier this year I shared a nice track from BOBBY called Sore Spores.  Then I ran across something else that I wasn't as fond of, and now I have a totally new song that I really like.  In other words, I think this band is slightly hit or miss.  I'm still, however, looking forward to their upcoming full length.  The self titled effort is due June 21 via Partisan.  Enjoy.

:BOBBY - Ginger (Water Birth):  This is easily my favorite BOBBY tune.  Molly Erin Sarle (of Mountain Man) and Tom Greenberg's vocals sound especially great throughout every moment of it, and I really adore the glimmering arrangement.  As is always the case with anything this well crafted, I highly recommend that you throw on a good pair of headphones.
