Movie News Rundown

Because of scheduling issues, Ed Harris and Matthew Fox will not appear in World War Z.

You need to check out the trailer for Juan Of The Dead.  Looks like ridiculous fun.

There's a rumor floating around that Jason Statham may be in line to star in the next Transformers film.

Neil Burger (Limitless) will direct the adaptation of the game Uncharted: Drake's Fortune.  No word yet on whether Mark Wahlberg will still star in the film.

Proving that there is no God, there's a Jack And Jill trailer.

Sony is reportedly looking at doing a sequel to Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs.

Naomie Harris (28 Days Later) is said to be close to landing the role of Moneypenny in the next Bond flick.

Amigo could be a good one.  Check out the trailer.

Ray Stevenson has signed on to be Firefly in GI Joe 2.

Mark Wahlberg and Jonah Hill are reportedly looking at starring in The Good Time Gang.  The movie is said to be a twist on the Lethal Weapon buddy cop formula.

Spike Lee is said to be interested in doing an American version of Oldboy.  NO.

Colin Firth and Scarlett Johansson are said to be close to joining the cast for Danny Boyle's Trance.

What's that?  You want Final Destination 5?  Done.  Check out the trailer.

Melissa McCarthy (Bridesmaids) has reportedly signed on for a role in the currently untitled Knocked Up sequel.

Johnny Depp is said to be close to signing a deal for a fifth Pirates Of The Caribbean.

Here's a trailer for The Myth Of The American Sleepover.  It has a sad hipsters in it.  Actually, so does the Restless trailer.  They're everywhere!

Lorenzo di Bonaventura (Transformers) is reportedly looking at producing and developing a movie based on the game Space Invaders.

Arrietty has a trailer.  Could be an OK flick.  Or annoying like Ponyo was.
