Rundown
Christopher
Smith (Severance, Black Death) is now who is
being reported as the possible director for Pride And
Prejudice And Zombies. David O. Russell and Mike
White were previously attached to the film.
Benjamin Walker (Golden Compass) has reportedly
agreed to play the role of Abraham Lincoln (from age 20 to
55) in the upcoming Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter.
Peep World has a new trailer. Could be an
entertaining film. Here's the
trailer.
Judi Dench is said to be set on returning as "M" in the next
Bond entry. Daniel Craig and Sam Mendes are still
attached to the oft-delayed film.
The Conspirator looks pretty great. Check out
the
trailer.
Matt Reeves has essentially said that Cloverfield 2
is not something that should be expected anytime soon.
Michael Fassbender and Noomi Rapace will star in Ridley
Scott's Prometheus. Reports on how closely
related the movie is to Alien seem to change
everyday, so who knows what it's about.
There's a
trailer out for Of God And Men.
Looks solid.
Viggo Mortensen, Charlize Theron and Kristen Stewart are
said to be looking at roles in Snow White And The
Huntsman. The movie would follow the Hunstman, who
falls in love with Snow White instead of killing her.
John Travolta and James Franco are said to be the preferred
choices to play John Gotti and John Gotti Jr in a film based
on the famous mob boss. Nick Cassavettes may direct.
The new
trailer for Black Death isn't all
that different than the last one. Still not sure what
to think of it.
By the way, there was a rumor floating around that mentioned
two more Matrix movies. It was all a lie. The end.
Naomi Watts has officially signed on for a role in Clint
Eastwood's J. Edgar Hoover film.
Beginners is probably too hip for it's own good, but
I'd still like to see it. Check out the
trailer.
The next two Avatar movies will be out in 2014 and
2015.
"You get into my bubble." That's an incredibly stupid
line, but Griff The Invisible could be interesting.

Mark Waters (Mean Girls) has signed on to direct
Get Back. The movie reportedly features two
Beatles fans who travel back in time to take out Yoko Ono.
Carey Mulligan has dropped out of Park Chan-wook's Stoker.
Mia Wasikowska (Alice In Wonderland) is said to be
her replacement.
Will Smith and Jay-Z are talking about doing a remake of
Annie. The movie would star Smith's daughter,
Willow.
Brian De Palma is set to direct Passion. The
movie, which is actually a remake of last year's Crime
D'Amour, follows two feuding corporate executives.
Exorcist-themed movies usually don't interest me, but
Insidious may end up being OK. Here's the
trailer.
Emile Hirsch will star in The Motel Room. The
movie reportedly follows two brothers on the run after a
fatal hit and run accident.
James Franco and Kate Hudson may star in Lovelace,
which is based on the life of pornstar Linda Lovelace.
Ed Harris recently said that there is pretty much no chance
of an Appaloosa sequel. Viggo Mortensen
apparently isn't too interested in returning to the role of
Hitch.
