Today's Quick Mention:  Before you make any definite plans for tomorrow night, I highly recommend that you consider going to the Ghost Room for Empress Hotel, The Eastern Sea, Granchild and Possessed By Paul James.  I think it will be one worth remembering.  If you're good.

Over the last half year or so I've really situated myself on the Memory Tapes bandwagon.  Mostly because the guy (also known as Dayve Hawk) has such a large array of ear-pleasing styles that I can't help but dig whatever I come across.  Below is a random leaked track off his currently untitled sophomore effort, which I believe it will be out this year.  Enjoy.

:Memory Tapes - Today Is Our Life:  As I mentioned, Dayve is all over the map in regards to what particular styles and sounds he throws out.  So, while this may start off like a dreamy pop tune, it quickly shifts into a dance worthy jam with a semi-guitar solo and a oh-so-groovy breakdown.  And as if that wasn't enough to slap a smile on your face, it comes off as overwhelmingly charming.  I think you have to like this.
