Today's Quick Mention: Plenty of good
little shows this weekend. Tonight you could
either catch the Long Tangles at Jovita's or the
Heartless Bastards at the Ghost Room. Tomorrow
I'd recommend Follow That Bird at the Mohawk or
Sorne at the United States Art Authority. Have

It
would seem as though today's song has been floating
around for a bit, but I wanted to bring this crazy
week to a relaxing close and it's was what was doing
it for me. So, sorry if you've heard it.
The track is from Chloe Makes Music and features the
Morning Benders' Christopher Chu as a guest vocalist
(he also produced the album). The Puppeteer
is out on Monday. Enjoy.

Makes Music - The Duel (Featuring Christopher Chu):
On the surface there really isn't a whole lot to this track.
However, put on a good pair of headphones and you'll notice
that it really opens up. The two and half minute
runtime stretches out and you end up lost in the beautiful,
swirling arrangement that encompasses the duo's pristine
vocal work. I could use a lot more of this.
