Today's Quick Mention: Even though the
Arctic Monkeys are playing Stubb's tonight, I think
it's too damn hot to go to a show. Instead you
should consider hitting up the Alamo Drafthouse for
a viewing of Attack The Block. Noah and
I both loved it.
Getting new music from Frightened Rabbit used to be
a big deal to me, but their last album, Winter Of
Mixed Drinks, failed to leave any sort of
impression and I took them off my "acts to always be
excited about" list. Now, they're back with
some new stuff via a tour-only EP, and one of the
tracks has managed to make me want to high five them
again. Hear it below. Enjoy.

Rabbit - Fuck This Place (Featuring Traceyanne From Camera
Obscura):
I think part of the reason I didn't much care for FR's last
album was because it felt forced. Fortunately, this
track sounds as effortless as the material that filled their
first couple of releases, and it's honestly great to have
that band back. Let's hope there's more stuff like
this on the EP and in the near future.
