Today's Quick Mention:  There’s a couple of nice shows tonight. Yacht and Bobby Birdman are rocking Emo’s, and Fitz And The Tantrums will be at La Zona Rosa. Someone get out there and report back! I’ll be on the couch watching TV and napping as much as possible.

Waking up later than expected killed any chance I had of grabbing the RSD-exclusive Wild Flag 7" this past Saturday, but thanks to the wonder of the internet both songs are now readily available to be loved.  Yesterday you were given the b-side off the release, and today you’re getting the glorious single from one of the few bands I’d be willing to kill for.  Enjoy.

:Wild Flag - Future Crimes:  Supergroups are the definition of the phrase "hit or miss." You just never know what to expect, and the music always seems to be polarized to the point of either being fantastic of just awful. Fortunately, this is better than even I could have hoped. The select former members of Sleater-Kinney, Helium and Minders have an undeniable chemistry, and I can't wait to hear more.  Download this and cherish it until we’re blessed with a full length of equally awesome indie rock gems.
