Today's Quick Mention:  Looks like tonight I'll be catching an advanced screening of Your Highness.  It's bound to be the dumbest movie of the year, but I can't wait to see it.  Here's hoping I'll still be able to form semi-complete sentences after it's over.

Sharon Jones (of Dap-Kings fame) and Matt Berninger (of National fame) doing a vocal duet for a new Booker T. Jones album actually sounds like something a giant music nerd like myself would dream up, so I sort of have to share the following track.  The ?uestlove and Rob Schanpf-produced LP is titled The Road From Memphis and is due May 10 via Anti. Enjoy.

:Booker T. Jones - Representing Memphis (Featuring Sharon Jones And Matt Berninger):  Because readers of SOTO are a snazzy bunch, I'm willing to bet that all of you have already guessed that this track is just Booker laying down some groovy music while Sharon and Matt take turns sharing their incredible voices.  Yep, it's predictable (and definitely easy listening), but it's just too damn good to not like.
