Today's Quick Mention:  One of the radio stations that it's in the building where I work is having an interesting show tonight.  It features Bright Light Social Hour, Quiet Company (these guys are having an especially good year) and AWOL Nation.  You should go.  It's on $3.

It's actually Brad's turn to entertain you, but he had a big test and a host of other things to take care of, so you're left with me an extra time this week.  Don't worry though, I brought new music from Gang Of Four.  Content, which is the band's first album in a decade and a half, is due on Yep Rock in the coming months.  Enjoy.

:Gang Of Four - Never Pay For The Farm:  There's usually this weird occurrence with older bands where they try to sound like the music of today instead of doing what they always do (even weirder is that younger acts try to sound as retro as possible), but Gang Of Four seems to have stuck to their dance-infused post-punk guns.  Expect to instantly realize about 3500 bands they've clearly influenced.
