Today's Quick Mention:  Pavement is playing at Stubb's tonight!  I know the show is sold-out, but if you can figure out a way to get in then you should go.  I saw them in Berkeley over the summer and it was pretty fantastic.  Doors at 7pm.  Woven Bones will open.

I only discovered Prinzhorn Dance School while browsing around Pitchfork yesterday, so all I can really say about them is that I've instantly become a big fan.  Informative, right!?  In any case, look for DFA to put out the Seed, Crop, Harvest 7" on October 11, and then a full length at some point in the (hopefully) near future.  Enjoy.

:Prinzhorn Dance School - Seed, Crop, Harvest:  I really love this track.  It has such an undeniably cool vibe that constantly oozes from it, and I have to give it some extra love for daring to keep its steady pace and not going the predictable route of throwing in a climax of crashing instruments.  Hopefully they'll come to Austin soon so that I can hear this gem live.
