Today's Quick Mention:  Naturally, there's a ton of great shows going down this weekend.  My recommendations include: The Heavy, Small Black, Colour Revolt, Butthole Surfers, Helmet, Matthew Dear, Trail Of Dead and Marnie Stern.  See Showlist Austin for all the times and locations!

The last day and some change has been overly random and tiring for me, so I apologize for being late and four artists short of a normal Friday post.  On the bright side, I do have some new music from Teletextile that I think will make your evening a bit more interesting.  The Reflector EP is due out before the end of the year.  Enjoy.

:Teletextile - I Don't Know How To Act Here:  Well, I think it's safe to say that Pamela Martinez (the main brain behind the act) is a big fan of ... just about everything.  It's really as though she listened to the calculated experimentation of St Vincent and decided it would actually work better if it had more styles and influences.  Not too sure if that's true, but her "select all" approach works well enough to keep me coming back for more.
