Today's Quick Mention: Anyone going to
Sufjan Stevens at the Long Center tonight? If
I had to guess I would say the guy still has plenty
of admirers out there, but the show doesn't appear
to be sold-out and I haven't heard any chatter about
it. What's the deal?
I've been thinking a lot about The Go! Team recently
(thanks to that NFL/Atlanta Falcons commercial), so
it was kind of nice to randomly find out that
they've readied a new full length. Check out
the first single below, and then be sure to remember
to seek out Rolling Blackouts when Memphis
Industries releases it on January 31. Enjoy.

I realize The Go! Team isn't for everyone. They make
weird, chant-filled blips of spastic joy, and it either
makes sense to you or it doesn't. Still though, if
you're going to venture out to the dance floor you might as
well do so with something fun like this track blasting
through the speakers. I hope they tour through Austin
soon. I've always wanted to see them live.
