Today's Quick Mention:  Fun Fun Fun Fest is here!  Actually, it sort of started last night at the plethora of free shows that went down around Austin.  But whatever.  Just so you know, don't expect any content this weekend.  I'll be too busy nerding out that I actually saw Weird Al perform.

Yeah, I know, it's once again a one-song Friday post.  I apologize.  There's just been too much shit going on lately.  Anyhow, let's get on with wrapping this week with a
really cool track from Dayve Hawk, who works under the moniker of Memory Tapes.  It's just a digital single, so make sure that you download and treasure it forever.  Enjoy.

:Memory Tapes - Pretend The Devil Isn't Real:  Not sure exactly when I decided this, but I figured a track posted on Halloween would have more of a gimmick to it.  But no, this is just straight up good.  I love its dark tone, and the plethora of weird details make for a constantly interesting listen.  You're going to want a nice pair of headphones for this one.
