Today's Quick Mention:  Looks like I'm seeing Pavement when they play the Greek Theatre in Berkeley next month!  I hope it's awesome.  Anyone caught a show since they started touring again?  If you have, tell me how it good (or bad) it's been.  I need to know.

Only the two of you who obsess over the site will probably remember White Shoes And The Couples Company, but if you do then I can bet you're excited for an update.  Unfortunately though, that's too just too bad, as I don't have any info.  Just this new song, which popped up in one of those Music Alliance Pact posts.  Please let me know if you know what I don't know.  Enjoy.

:White Shoes And The Couples Company - Kampus Kemarau:  This could easily qualify as a guilty pleasure with its glorious jazz-influences and an obvious language barrier (they're from Indonesia) that allows for me to make up my own lyrics, but I'd like to legitimize is it a bit by saying that you won't find much of anything that's more warm or endearing than this.  Now excuse me, I'm going to spend a while dancing and thinking about old films.
