Today's Quick Mention:  Rejoice!  School Of Seven Bells will be releasing a digital single on June 1 titled Windstorm.  On it is, of course, a song called Windstorm, a b-side by the name of Crescent Gold and a remix of the title track by A Place To Bury Strangers.  Should be awesome.

I don't get the impression that Pitchfork is too interested in updating "The Playlist" anymore, but on occasion a gem like today's artist still pops up in there and reminds that they have more than just news and a slew of bitter album reviews.  In any case, the awesomely named Tame Impala will release InnerSpeaker on June 8 via Modular.  Enjoy.

:Tame Impala - Island Walking:  It isn't too often you get a psych-rock group with a penchant for catchy everything, but that's actually exactly what this is, and I love it.  You should crank this up loud.  Also, you might want to throw on some bellbottoms if you (or your parents) have a pair of tucked away somewhere.  Trust me when I say It'll be totally worth the effort to achieve the full nostalgic experience.
