Today's Quick Mention: I know Monday
isn't an ideal day to head out for a show, but if
you're feeling adventurous tonight then I definitely
recommend seeing These United States (with Zookeeper
and Jesse Torrisi) at Emo's. They always put
on a good set. EDIT:
The show is actually on Tuesday!
Over the weekend a slew of Ratatat tracks hit the
web (that probably means they're old by now, but
whatever) and, because I care, I went through the
super easy process of listening to them all and
picking a favorite to share with you today.
So, give the tune a listen, and then wait patiently
for XL Recordings to put out LP4 on June 8.

- REMOVED - NOT WEB SHERIFF APPROVED - I kind of felt the other songs that leaked were lacking
something, so it was nice when I finally stumbled across
Drugs (that sounds hilarious) and figured out what it
was - this is edgy and fun. Or, in other words, the
kind of electronic-fueled fierceness that I think Ratatat
does best. Feel free to either dance or put on
headphones and glance around with an overly serious look as
you nod your head like it might be your last chance to ever
do so.
