Today's Quick Mention: I don't get the
new LCD Soundsystem
single
at all. It just isn't appealing, and I'm more
than a little disappointed that James Murphy
couldn't muster anything better. Guess there's
always hope the new LP, which is due in May, will
still manage to have at least one or two good tunes
on it.
Yesterday featured a nice handful of
stuff to take in, so today the plan is to keep it
simple and only rock out with Earl Greyhound.
The trio will actually be in Austin at the Parish on
May 19 with, of all bands, Ok Go and Robert Francis.
Should be good ... and maybe a little odd.
Suspicious Package is due out on April 13 via
Hawk Race Records. Enjoy.

Greyhound - Ghost And The Witness:
Matt Whyte, Kamara Thomas and Ricc Sheridan are particularly
great at one thing, and that just so happens to be rock
music. There isn't much else to it. So download
this track, turn it up as loud as you can and then spend its
almost four minute runtime either banging your head around
or striking your best power pose. I'll be waiting here
to fist bump you when you're done.
