Movie News Rundown

Christopher Nolan has said that he will not be re-casting the Joker in Batman 3.

Daniel Craig is close to signing on to star in the American adaptation of the Girl With A Dragon Tattoo books.  Carey Mulligan, Natalie Portman and Keira Knightley are all reportedly interested in the female role.

Brett Ratner is reportedly working on an "edgy" version of Snow White.

The first look at Gulliver's Travels is not a good one.  See the trailer here.

Neal McDonough (Band Of Brothers) will play Dum Dum Dugan in Captain America: The First Avenger.  Tommy Lee Jones is also being rumored to have a a part in the film.

Speaking of Captain America, Ain't It Cool has the first mockups of the suit.  Same goes for Thor.

Tom Selleck has confirmed that Disney is considering making Three Men And A Bride.  Sad.

My Idiot Brother will star Paul Rudd.  The movie is said to about about a guy dealing with an overbearing mother and three ambitious and successful sisters.

Looking for a cute romantic comedy with teens?  The trailer for Flipped might be it.

Now that Guillermo Del Toro has had to back out of directing The Hobbit, it's now being rumored that Peter Jackson may end up directing if he can clear up his schedule.

The first trailer for Jackboots On Whitehall is pretty cool.

Jeremy Renner (The Hurt Locker) will play Hawkeye in The Avengers.

Dinner For Schmucks has a new trailer.  Still looks like dumb fun.

New Line is said to be looking at adapting The Carrie Diaries (complete with a young version of the Sarah Jessica Parker character) instead of making a third film in the Sex And The City series.

Tony Jaa (Ong BaK) has apparently retired from acting and become a monk.

Bruce Willis, Forest Whitaker, Malin Akerman and Kate Mara will star in Catch .44.  The move is said to about a group of women who somehow get entangled with a hitman.

Scott Pilgrim Vs The World has a new trailer.  Can't wait to see this movie.

Stephen Schiff (Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps) has been hired to write an Albert Einstein biopic.

Sigourney Weaver will join Tyler Lautner (Twilight) in John Singleton's Abduction, which follows a young man who finds a baby picture of himself on a missing persons website.

Antoine Fuqua (Training Day) has come out and said that his next project will be a Tupac biopic.
