Because we all could use a little more frantic in
our lives, I'm wrapping this week with a blistering
new track from the one and only Marnie Stern.
As you may remember, she released an album in 2008
that was perfect if you needed something to run
around in circles to ... and now she's ready to
follow it up with a self titled effort. Kill
Rock Stars will release it on October 5.

Stern - For Ash:
I have to admit that I was a little surprised by this song.
Marnie usually just goes straight for the shredding and
doesn't look back until she's worn you out, but this is
actually a somewhat thick listen that features a hefty
variety of layers. So, don't be surprised if at first
you just get lost. I'm really curious to see if all of
the LP is like this.
