Today's Quick Mention:  I have to attend a little family get together all of tomorrow, so don't expect a podcast or any movie news until Sunday.  So what to do while you wait?  Go see Inception.  I loved it.  Noah loved it.  That means you will too.

Land Of Talk have returned!  This, as you may have guessed by me ending the previous sentence with an exclamation mark, is rather good news, and I'm glad to be bringing the week to a close with such a highly anticipated single.  Saddle Creek will release the band's third full length on August 24.  It's titled Cloak And Cipher.  Enjoy.

:Land Of Talk - Swift Coin:  This would probably register as more refined than different if you compared it to older efforts, but that's not exactly what I would call a bad thing.  After all, the main highlight of anything from Land Of Talk is Elizabeth Powell, and she definitely shines here with that golden voice of hers.  I can't wait to hear the new stuff live when the band plays the Parish on October 15.
