Today's Quick Mention:  The Gorillaz recently did an AOL Session that I believe you might find interesting.  Check out live videos of On Melancholy Hill, Rhinestone Eyes, Broken and Glitter Freeze here, and if you need more there's also an interview.

To be honest, I pretty much hated the first single from Jenny And Johnny.  It just grated my nerves to no end and, even though she doesn't always hit a home run, I expect more from Jenny Lewis.  Fortunately though, the second tune form the duo is fairly snazzy
.  Guess we'll see how I'm Having Fun Now works as a whole when it arrives August 31.  Enjoy.

:Jenny And Johnny - Big Wave:  I'd love to say I only find this song appealing because it features a very minimal amount of Jonathan Rice, but I think the real reason I dig it is that it sounds like something Rilo Kiley would have done on a full length (before the sadness of Under The Blacklight came along) when they weren't allowing Jenny Lewis to only be super adorable.  Hopefully the rest of Jenny And Johnny's album will be like this.
