Scott Frank has now left the project, but Fox is still
trying to arrange a reboot of Conquest Of The Planet Of
The Apes, which follows how the apes rose and took
control over humans.
Thomas Lennon let out a hint that he may be writing a third
Night At The Museum.
Martin Scorsese is reportedly close to attaining the rights
to The Invention Of Hugo Cabret, the best-selling
children's book from Brian Selznick.
Jason Momoa has been cast as Conan. Mickey Rourke will
play his father.
The red band trailer for
Hot Tub Time Machine is now up.
Honestly not sure what to think.
Marc Webb's Spider-Man reboot will apparently deal
more with Peter Parker's teen angst than actual crime
fighting.
The trailer for
MacGruber is up. It actually looks
pretty funny.
Tim Burton is said to be working on an alternate tale of
Sleeping Beauty that he's calling Maleficent.
It supposedly follows the witch's story more so than
anything else.
My Name Is Bruce is getting a sequel, and the name of
it is Bruce VS Frankenstein.
Tom Wilkinson and Isla Fisher have joined the cast of
Burke And Hare. The movie stars Simon Pegg and
Andy Serkis (he recently replaced David Tennant) as the
infamous gravediggers who sold their murder victim's corpses
to medical colleges.
Clive Owen has replaced Paul Walker in Protection,
which follows a disgraced former Special Forces agent trying
to save a girl in Mexico.
Warner Bros. is reportedly still trying to decide whether or
not to convert Clash Of The Titans to 3D.
The trailer for
Cyrus is up. Love how uncomfortable
it is.
Gerald Butler will star in the indie drama Machine Gun
Preacher. It's said to follow a tough guy who
finds God and then proceeds to help children how have been
kidnapped and turned into soldiers.
Matt Damon and Brad Pitt have joined the cast of Happy
Feet 2.
The trailer for Ryan Reynolds'
Buried is now up. Could be
interesting.
A sequel to Paranormal Activity is underway, and it
will be directed by Saw 6-helmer Kevin Greutert.
