Today's Quick Mention:  Yesterday a friend of mine asked for my thoughts on an up and coming service he's working with called Superglued.  I think it's actually pretty cool (essentially, you can share live experiences with a community of local show-goers), but I'd like to know what you think.  So take a look and tell me.

I was curious to see how Japandroids would go about following up the success of their debut ... and apparently it's by continuing to live off of it.  Normally, that would make me shake my head in disappointment, but they're actually doing it in a nifty way and putting out five different 7" singles (the first is due April 13), each with b-side from Post-Nothing and a cover.  I like it.  Enjoy.

:Japandroids - Art Czars:  "I'm really sorry if you thought this feeling/Was the fire keeping your heart beating"  I could never seem to get past the "like" stage with Post-Nothing,  but this song really makes me want to go back and re-evaluate that opinion.  Coincidently, it also makes me feel the need to revisit a slew of rock albums from the 90s, but that's probably just a natural thing that happens when you listen to Japandroids.

By the way, the other song on this 7" is a cover Big Black's Racer X, and you can check it out in the video below.
