Today's Quick Mention:  If by Sunday you're completely Psych Fest-ed out then I highly recommend joining Dan and myself at the Alamo Drafthouse Ritz.  My Education will be putting on a live score for the classic silent film Sunrise, and I believe it's going to be fairly awesome.

I doubt any of you remember, but way back in 2008 I shared a 60s sound-enthused track from King Tuff titled Sun Medallion (hear it via glorious faux-video below).  Well, as I found out yesterday, that band has now become Happy Birthday, they're now on the almighty Sub Pop and they just put out their self titled debut last month.  Enjoy.

:Happy Birthday - Girls FM:  This is definitely a lot more retro pop than what was done with King Tuff, but that's not necessarily a bad thing.  Especially when you consider that this might be one of the more fun tunes I've come across in 2010.  End your week a on a positive note.  Crank this.  Dance around.  And remember to pick up the LP that this came from.  I'm sure it's a blast as well.
