Today's Quick Mention: Don't forget
that Psych Fest 3 starts tomorrow! The first
night probably has the best lineup (it features the
Raveonettes, Warpaint, Indian Jewelry, Ringo
DeathStarr and more), but I think the
event as a
whole will be pretty great. Go and have fun.
Speaking of Psych Fest 3, today I have one of the
artists that's scheduled to rock the Mohawk on
Saturday. They're called Sisters Of Your
Sunshine Vapor, and if you like what you hear you
can pick up their debut full length for a whopping
ZERO dollars at their
website.
That's a hell of a deal. So giving the LP a
shot should be a no-brainer. Enjoy.

These guys list Black Rebel Motorcycle Club as an influence,
and you can totally hear that on the album, which has a lot
of straight up rock n' roll tracks that have various psych
elements thrown in the mix. This song, however, isn't
really that at all. It instead focuses more on
atmosphere, and in turn makes for a really neat listen.
Grab headphones. And turn it up loud.
