Today's Quick Mention:  Well, Record Store Day came and went.  It was fun, and  I got quite a few new pieces of vinyl.  How did you do?  Also, and this part is totally selfish, but if you got anything exclusive that came with a digital download I'd love your forever if you sent me some mp3s!

Speaking of Record Store Day exclusives, Blur did something so very nice once the vinyl was all gone, they posted up a FREE digital version of their UK-only 7" single.  Why don't all RSD participants do this?  Actually, why can't they all at least include a download code?  Anyhow, the song, which is the band's first original effort since 2003, is below.  Enjoy.

:Blur - Fool's Day:  While this is a nifty little number, I don't think I'd call it one of Blur's best songs or anything like that.  What I will do though, is say there's something very captivating about the thought of them making music together again.  It just works.  I hope we get more soon.  If not, then that's OK.  At least I'll know that on occasion they may throw us a treat like Fool's Day.
